It’s starting to feel like we are living in a bubble.

She’s my inspiration, possibly now more than ever. Not only because she inspires me to continue creating, but because witnessing her determination motivates me to not give up on pursuing things that are a bit more challenging to make happen right now. My girl is strong, and she needs me to be too. 💪🏻 We will get “up” together, Colbie! Hang in there everyone!

Our “new normal” consists of things like science experiments on the driveway in PJ’s (that don’t typically come off until after lunch, if at all 😬), and a lot of talk about germs. This experiment demonstrated how using soap helps to keep them at bay. We are balancing this with working from home, and do have a lot of anxiety about everything as well, but these are the moments I want to try my best to focus on as much as possible right now. Well this made my day in the exact moment I was needing something to cheer me up a little! It is such an honor to receive my @napcp “Master Photographer” certificate today!! I’ll be honest, with my recent decision to return to full time photography and ending up with going straight into social distancing, I have felt a little nervous about what lies ahead as a business owner, but I’m making the best of my time to reflect on my brand, get re-inspired creatively, and more. I was glad to have a push to go through years of my work to submit 40 images (10 in 4 different categories- baby, toddler, child, sibling) with no repeat subjects allowed, to be reviewed for this! It forced me to be critical of my own images in order to remember what I enjoy most and what I may want to change going forward as well. It’s so good to take time to reflect, set goals, etc. and I appreciate this motivation to do so, @napcp ! We were happy the rain was gone yesterday and eager to get outside! My oldest boy was so sweet with teaching his sister to rollerblade last night and I couldn’t resist capturing this moment between them. 💕#itsthelittlethings #goldenhour
